Kern County Supervisor Mike Maggard and the Kern County Planning and Community Development Department will host a two-day community visioning charette in East Bakersfield on Friday July 20th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday July 21st from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.?at the Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 1314 Oswell.
The charette provides the opportunity to develop an exciting community vision for the future of East Bakersfield.? Community members will be able to join with neighbors in hands-on designing exercises, participate in live electronic?polling to share options and create a public vision and list of projects for revitalization in East Bakersfield.
Community members are welcome to attend either one or both days.? Refreshments?will be available and Spanish translation will be provided.
