Sony Ericsson will bring NFC to its Android phones

We already know that Near Field Communications (NFC) might be the next big thing in smartphones. I doubt there will be a manufacturer that will look the other way at NFC. Sony Ericsson wants to be the world?s largest Android handset maker so it would probably be a good idea if they start installing it in their phones. It turns out that they will, but the news didn?t come from Sony Ericsson. It came from NXP, which is the same NFC chip-maker Google and Samsung used for the Nexus S handset. NFC should grow heavily in 2012 with the recent announcement of Google Wallet , which will enable wireless mobile payments using NFC chips or stickers. Visit TalkAndroid for android news
